On December 6, 2024, at 16:00, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host the opening of the exhibition “ATAMEKEN”, dedicated to the Independence Day of Kazakhstan, organized by the Association of Artists and Teachers “Tumar-Art” and their talented students. The exhibition will bring together the works of masters and their students working in a variety of genres and styles, but united by the desire for beauty and the desire to create. The association’s teachers actively participate in international and national exhibitions, while educating a new generation of artists, many of whom become winners of children’s competitions at various levels.
Over the years, the Tumar-Art Association has organized many bright and significant events, each of which reflects the richness of the art world. Among them: The City Tulip Festival (Palace of Schoolchildren, 2024); “Art Flora” (Palace of Schoolchildren, 2023); “Boyaular kupiyasy” (Gallery of Fine Arts, Taldykorgan, 2023); “Palette of the Universe” (Triumph Gallery, 2022); “Territory of Beauty” (AKDPI named after O. Tansykbayev, 2022); “Kazakhstan: yesterday, today, tomorrow” (CGM RK, 2021); “Almaty – the city of 1000 colors” (“CO Lab Almaty”, 2021); “Time of Inspiration” (A. Kasteev State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2021); “ART MIX” (“CO Lab Almaty”, 2021). These exhibitions have become significant events in cultural life, reflecting the wealth of art and strengthening the bond between generations. For the association, this event will be a bright result of five years of activity, which invariably contributes to the development of artistic culture and aesthetic education in Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the exhibition “ATAMEKEN” is to show how art teachers convey knowledge, experience and love for their native land through their works, creating a bridge between generations. The exhibition will become a platform for interaction between teachers and their students, where each artist shares his creative mission, and the younger generation continues and develops these traditions, strengthening the connection between the past, present and future.
The exhibition will present the works of masters and their students dedicated to the beauty of their native land, its history, spiritual values and national traditions. Each work is filled with deep meaning, encouraging people to think about the role of man in preserving cultural heritage and the inextricable link between generations, and will also open up to the audience a wealth of artistic reflections on the past and present, providing an opportunity to escape from the daily hustle and bustle, be inspired and see the beauty of traditional art in a new light.
We invite all guests of the city to visit the Atameken exhibition to touch the world of art and cultural heritage. Here you can be inspired by works filled with love for your native land and its history.
