On December 5, 2024, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the opening of the exhibition of students of the KAU School – “Independence in color: the art of our children”. This exhibition is dedicated to the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For the first time, the KAU school opened its doors in 1998, and to this day makes a huge contribution to the education and development of the younger generation.

Anna Viktorovna Kushchenko, Deputy Director of the Central State Museum, spoke at the opening ceremony and in her speech she stressed the important role of the museum in popularizing children’s creativity. “The works of students of the KAU school demonstrate not only their talent, but a deep understanding of the ideas of Independence that they were able to express through their creativity. Such cooperation between the museum and the school is an excellent example of the development of cultural and spiritual values for the younger generation.”

In addition, Sabirdinova Sabina Adilkhanovna, director of KAU, congratulated the students on their first exhibition, noting: “This exhibition is the result of the talent and hard work of our students. Each work is a vivid reflection of their deep thoughts and creative outlook. We sincerely thank the museum staff for the opportunity to present the work of our children on such a significant site,” she said.

The works presented at the exhibition reveal the creative potential of young artists. Children’s art shows that even the youngest can express their thoughts and feelings through creativity, and their work deserves attention and respect.

The exhibition will last until December 20, 2024.
